Jeremy A. Busch, D.P.M.
Jeremy Busch is a hyperbaric medicine-certified physician and diabetic wound care specialist, as well as a foot and ankle surgeon. He completed his postbaccalaureate studies for medical prerequisites at the University of Pennsylvania. Soon after, he obtained his doctorate in podiatric medicine from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine.
He served as the chief resident during his three-year surgical residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at the Long Beach Memorial Medical Center & the VA Long Beach, with a strong focus on diabetic limb salvage and wound care.
Additionally, Dr. Busch has co-authored several wound articles, including “A Novel Wound Score” and “Reliability Assessment of an Innovative Wound Score”—both of which are published in multiple journals. With the help of other specialists, he also wrote papers for the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society.
Prior to going to medical school, Dr. Busch graduated from the United States Merchant Marine Academy. He received his Bachelor of Science in marine systems design engineering while minoring in environmental engineering.
Dr. Busch received awards for serving in both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom wars as a midshipman. For eight years, he served in the United States Navy and, soon after, he received an honorable discharge as a lieutenant.
Dr. Faiza Zahid, D.P.M
Dr. Faiza Zahid, D.P.M., is a foot and ankle surgeon focused on delivering thoughtful, evidence-based care for patients of all ages. She treats a broad range of lower extremity conditions, including foot deformities, sports injuries, diabetic foot concerns, wound care needs, and surgical conditions requiring reconstruction or stabilization.
She completed her podiatric medical training at Western University of Health Sciences and went on to complete an intensive surgical residency at Chino Valley Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident. Her training provided extensive experience in forefoot and rearfoot surgery, trauma management, limb preservation, and comprehensive clinical care.
Dr. Zahid approaches each patient encounter with the goal of listening carefully, explaining conditions clearly, and developing practical treatment plans that align with a patient’s daily life and long-term goals.
She is committed to building lasting relationships with her patients and providing care in a professional, respectful, and supportive environment.
